Two-part installation, 40 × 40 cm

Wood, gold-plated forging nails, synthetic black hair, leather, biodegradable latex balloons

A floating hair headpiece, once worn by four models during Berlin Fashion Week 2023, hovers in space—held only by fragile balloons. Opposite, a pair of delicate, non-functional hair sandals is fixed onto a rough wooden block with golden forging nails.

The work unfolds through contrasts: weight and lightness, fixation and movement, strength and fragility. While the balloons suggest elevation and freedom, the nails enforce immobility.

Please note that the artpieces are delivered without helium balloons, as they are not intended for long-term display. For short-term installations, please contact us to discuss available options.
