THIS IS TO SAY GOOD BYE TO 2025
AND WELCOME 2026

Hey everyone,
Here I am again with my beautiful ritual, my end-of-year speech.
This is not a general recap of 2025; I’ll try to leave out all the dreadful news. The more terrible the outside world collapses onto us, the more important it becomes, I think, to give ourselves a little space, a moment to reflect on whether there were also beautiful moments, developments, tiny things to be proud of — moments that let the brain breathe for a second. Because it’s not stress that destroys our brains, it’s the constant mental rumination. (Something I know far too well myself.)
So this is a very personal review. I originally started this ritual five years ago, a year that brought so many new and exciting things into my life, a year that changed my world and my life entirely. I was catapulted into a new life phase and felt the urge to share that with you at the end of the year. I don’t keep a diary — I wish I did — but this ritual at least forces me, once a year, to sit for a moment and think about what actually happened.
2025 - basically just started… and somehow it’s already ending. I’m a bit excited, and I almost don’t dare to say it out loud, but if I push aside all the noise, there is this feeling of excitement and anticipation for the year ahead. Why? I turned 50 this year. And yes… I’m getting older (what an important piece of information, thank you, Esther), I’m getting wiser, and I’m getting blinder (you can see it — but more on that later).

They’re finally back: the little good-luck charms for all the “fighters” among us.
The TOOTH line stands for strength, resilience, and all those moments in life when we have to quite literally “bite through”.
